Position: Asia Region Field Application Engineer

Responsibilities:
1. Proactively promote and position company technology (Gas and
Steam Turbines, Aero, Wind, IGCC, Jenbacher, Solar and other Energy
Business Products and Services) early in the project phase to create
value and influence by working closely with consultants, Developers &
customers.
2. Provide technical expertise to Sales and Commercial Operations
in selecting, implementing and developing competitive turbine product
applications and power generation solutions
3. Estimate Company equipment and system performance, hardware and
price for budgetary estimates
4. Assess competitive system performance & hardware evaluation
throughout the entire bid estimates
5. Identify customer needs (New Product Introduction) and
communicate it back to the Company Businesses
6. Perform cycle and equipment comparisons to establish
economically optimum company preferred cycle and configuration with
involvement of and communication to the commercial teams and application
engineers.
7. Respond to various technical questions regarding Power
Generation products and system solutions to retain and expanding
customer's interest and achieve their technical credibility.
8. Participate from technical sales perspective in customer
presentations, discussions, negotiations, conferences and all front line
marketing/sales effort and being a catalyst in problem solving.
9. Participate in the development and execution of CLP training
programs, coaching and Mentoring
10. Train Sales force to empower with the latest technical knowledge
and information

Qualifications:
1. Bachelor degree in engineering
2. Minimum 2 years in Gas Turbine and combine cycle knowledge
3. Min 5 years experience in engineering or systems works areas
associate with electrical power systems, mechanical thermal system, or
control and operations
4. Min 2 years operational experience in a power plan or industrial
utility
5. Must be willing to travel
6. Self starter
7. high motivate personality
8. strong leader ship and negotiation skills

Desired:
1. MBA or advanced Engineering Degree
2. Prior experience with customer specification review, proposal
development, and contract development and negotiations
3. Demonstrated expertise in thermal power generation cycle
analysis
4. Experience with Cycle Deck, GT-Pro, Gate Cycle or APPS or Wind
Software
5. Knowledge of power plant scope and utility economics
6. Experience in commercial environment with sales, marketing,
application engineering or customer service
